Interrupting the toasting process
If you wish to interrupt the toasting process, press the STOP button u. The toaster switches itself off.
Warming function
The warming function y makes it possible for you to warm bread without browning it. For example, for toast that has gone cold. The bread is only briefly warmed.
•Insert the bread and press the operator button e down.
•Activate the button for the warming function y. The control lamp integrated into the button for the warming function y glows.
•The toaster switches itself off automatically, the control lamp extinguishes and the bread slices are ejected.
Thaw function
Through activation of the thaw function t frozen bread can also be thawed. The toaster slowly warms the bread without browning it.
•Insert the bread and press the operator button e down.
•Activate the button for the thaw function t. The control lamp integrated into the button for the thaw function t glows.
•The toaster switches itself off automatically, the control lamp extinguishes and the bread slices are ejected.
Dependent on the setting of the browning level, the bread is either thawed or browned.
Crumb tray
When toasting, crumbs that fall from the bread are collected in the crumb tray i. To empty it, simply pull the crumb tray i out to the side.
Bread roll holder
•NEVER lay bread rolls directly onto the toaster, ALWAYS use the bread roll holder q.
•Open up the feet of the bread roll holder q.
•Place the bread roll holder q so that the feet of the bread roll holder q are retained in the toaster slots w.
•Place the bread rolls onto the holder and start the toasting procedure. Set the browning regulator r to a maximum of level of 3.
Place the rolls onto the bread roll holder q so that they cannot fall through the holder. After toasting, the rolls will be very hot.
•As soon as the toaster switches itself off, check the level of browning. Should the bread roll have the desired level of browning, turn it over to brown the other side.
•Switch the toaster back on.
Important!
Wait until the bread roll holder q has cooled down before removing it! The bread roll holder q becomes very hot! Risk of Burns!
