Setting the date and time
After initially inserting a memory card and charging the battery, the camera’s clock and calendar must be set. When images are recorded, the image data is saved with the date and time of recording. Depending on the region, the menu language may also have to be set. To change the language, refer to page 69.

The date and time can be set on the playback menu. Navigating the menu is simple. The menu button (3) turns the menu on and off. The zoom lever and left and right keys (4) control the cursor and change settings on the menu. The enter button (5) selects menu options and sets adjustments.
