FOCUS HOLD

Subjects outside the focus frame or LCD monitor center may not be in focus. Use focus hold to ensure accurate focusing.

Place the focus frame on your subject or center the subject in the LCD monitor, then press and hold the shutter-release button partway down so the green focus lamp glows.

Without lifting your finger, recompose the picture, then press the shutter- release button all-the-way down to take the picture.
