LOCKING (PROTECTING) IMAGES - CONT’DUNLOCKING (UNPROTECTING) IMAGES Display the images for whichlock (write-protect) is to be cleared with steps to on pages 81 - 82.

Press the exposure- compensation/lock button.

• This clears lock (write-protect) for the displayed image.

• A Lock icon in the LCD monitor disappears.

Repeat to for any other images for which lock (write- protect) is to be cleared.

If you want to unlock (unprotect) all of the images, select “UNLOCK ALL” in the Play mode menus. See page 90 for details.

When an attempt is made to delete a locked (write-protected) image, CAN’T ERASE appears on the LCD monitor as shown left to indicate that the image cannot be deleted.
