Global MIDI Channel

TheGlobalMIDIChannelisthemostimportantMIDI
relatedsettingintheKROME.Itdeterminesthemain
MIDIchannelusedforbothProgramandCombination
modes,forinstance.TosettheGlobalMIDIChannel:
1. GototheGlobalP1:MIDI–MIDIBasicpage.
2. IntheMIDISetupsection,settheMIDIChannel
asdesired.

MIDI Clock synchronization

TheKROMEcanuseitsowninternaltempo,or
synchronizetoexternalclocksfromeitherMIDIor
USB.
ThebestgeneralpurposesettingisAuto.Thiscombine
thefunctionalityofInternalandExternalMIDI/USB,
sothatyoudon’thavetomanuallyswitchbetweenthe
two:
•Ifexternalclocksarebeingreceived,theycontrol
theKROMEtempo.
•Ifexternalclocksarenotbeingreceived,the
KROMEusesitsinternaltempoinstead.

Synchronizing to a USB-connected computer

IfyouwanttosynchronizetheKROME’stempotoa
computerconnectedviaUSB:
