AppendixTroubleshooting
Power does not turn on
•Is the AC adaptor connected correctly?
• Is there any remaining battery capacity?
•Did you hold down the power button?
Nothing appears in the display
•Is the contrast adjusted correctly? (→p.38)
Display is dark
•Is the backlight set to "OFF"? (→p.26)
No sound
•Is the MR-1000 and the connected equipment powered-on? (→p.13)
•Are the amp or headphone connections incorrect?
Can't hear the playback
Headphones
•Is the headphone volume set to "0"?
Can't hear the audio input
•Are the recording settings correct?
•Is the recording level raised?
•Make sure that audio is being input.
In the level meter screen, verify that the level meters are moving.
Can't record
•Are the input level L/R knobs lowered?
•Is there sufficient hard disk space remaining?
→Set the counter display to "Free" and check the remaining time available for recording.

The recording is interrupted
•Could the MR-1000 have been bumped while recording?
•Could the MR-1000 have been in a location subject to continuous vibration (such as near a
motor or a bass amp) while recording?
