Whenyou pressa key,some sounds playasi nglepiece of
sampleddata,whileothersoundsplaytwopiecesofs ampled
data.TheSP-170Susestwo piecesofdatafor mostofitspre-
setsounds.Whenoneofthes etwo-samplesoundsisselected
(regardlessof whethert hedamper pedalis beingpres sed),
thema ximum polyphony is60 notes. However, with two
Pianosound s,thema ximumpolypho nyis120 notes.If the
maximumpolyphony isexceeded,some ofthenotes willbe
lost.
The pitch or tone of the piano soun ds wrong in some key regions
•TheSP-170S’spianosoundsreplicate thesound ofanactu al
pianoasfaithf ullyaspossible. Thismeanst hatinsomer e-
gionsofthe keyboard,youmayfeel thattheovertones seem
stronger,orthatthe toneorpitchseems wrong.Thisis nota
malfunction.
Pedal is not effective
