C. UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY

1.Openthe boxand removethe top layer of protective foam. Thefollowing items will nowbe visibIe:

1Dust Coverencased in a protective sleeve

1CDStabilizer

1ACpower cord

1MD-2RC Remote Control

3 AAABatteries for MD-2RC

1Packet containing the OwnersReference and

N warranty card

ote: If any of these items are not included[?lease con.tact your authorized dealer immediatelyfor assistance.

2.Removethe layer of foamcontaining these items and set it aside for later use. Carefully removethe MD-2 transport fromits boxand removethe protective plastic wrap.

Note: Saveall packingmaterials. If you mustship your

MD-in2 the future repackthe unit in its original pa, ckag- ing to preventtransit damageIf. the unit is returnecl to

KRELLfor service please send the cover and the remote control unit.

Caution: If your MD-2has the customlucite cover do not removeit fiomits protective sleeve at this time! This cover is extremely_delicate and can be. permanently scarred if mishandled.Please follow the instructions providedin this Referencefor safe installation.

3.Removethe transport screws from the bottom of the unit. Their locations are markedwith stickers on the bottomof the chassis.

NOTE:Later pro,duction modelshave a protective plastic hubthat secures the transport fromthe top of the unit during shipping instead ot transport screws. Carefully removethe-black plastic hub by tu~ing it counterclock-

4, Removethe voltage identification sticker fromthe back of the unit. Youare nowreadyto install the dust cover.
