Danger
Exposureto extremely high noise levels may cause a
permanenthearing loss. Individuals vary considerably to
noiseinduced hearing loss but nearly everyone will lose
somehearing if exposed to sufficiently intense noise for a
sufficienttime.
TheU.S. Government's Occupational Safety and Health
Administration(OSHA) has specified the following
permissiblenoise level exposures:
Accordingto OSHA, any exposure in the above permissible
limitscould result in some hearing loss. Ear plugs or
protectorsin the ear canal or over the ears must be worn
whenoperating this amplification system in order to prevent
apermanent hearing loss. If exposure in excess of the limits
asput forth above, to insure against potentially harmful
exposureto high sound pressure levels, it is recommended
thatall persons exposed to equipment capable of inducing
highsound pressure levels, such as this amplification
system,be protected by hearing protectors while this unit is
inoperation.
