Using the flash
When taking photos in difficult lighting conditions, use the flash to get correct exposure. This function cannot be activated for recording video.
To activate the flash:•Press on the navigation control repeatedly until the flash mode you want is displayed on the LCD.

•Flash charging time may increase when the batteries are low.
•Hold the camera steady, or mount it on a tripod, to reduce blurring when using the slow sync flash mode.

Your camera is equipped with a macro feature that lets you focus on very close subjects.
To use the macro feature:1Press on the navigation control. The macro icon appears on the LCD.
