5 Press		/ or / to highlight Help Text, then		5 Press / or / to highlight Factory Reset.
	press	/ or OK/DISP to open the submenu.

6Press / or / to highlight On or Off, then press OK/DISP.

7Press MENU to close the menu.

Resetting settings to the factory defaults

The factory reset function resets your camera to its factory default settings without deleting any captured photos or videos.

Note

The factory reset function can only be accessed when

Simple mode is set to Off.

To reset settings to the factory defaults:

1Turn on your camera.

2Slide the MODE switch to switch to Photo or Video mode.

3Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.

4Press / or / to select the (tools) tab. The Tools menu opens.

6Press / or OK/DISP. A confirmation message appears.

7Press / or / to highlight Yes, then press OK/DISP.

8Press MENU to close the menu.
