Tractor Hook-Up
4.Secure tractor’s
!DANGER
ACrushing Hazard exists when
!CAUTION
Always make sure the hitch pin is secured with a keeper clip. Not doing so can result in the unit coming unhitched and out of control.
!CAUTION
Always engage parking brake, shut off tractor and remove key before dismounting from tractor to
IMPORTANT: You could loose steering control if your tractor is too light. Refer to your tractor’s manual to determine if additional ballast is needed.
Refer to Figure 2-1:
1.If installed, remove
2.Move drawbar fully forward. (Towards front of tractor)
3.Slowly back tractor up to Core Aerator until tractor’s lower
NOTE: Supplied with the Core Aerator are two lower bushing for

(7/8" hitch pins are furnished with Aerator.)
5.Secure tractor’s top center link to the Aerator’s top hitch using a 3/4" diameter hitch pin.
(3/4" top hitch pin is supplied by customer.)
6.Raise park stands up and secure in working position. See “Parking Stands” on page 9
7.Return to the tractor and slowly operate controls up and down to check for clearance between Core Aerator, tractor tires, frame and drawbar. Move or remove drawbar if it interferes with Aerator.
Quick Hitch Hook-Up
Refer to Figure 3-1 on page 11:
