General Instructions

ϘϘ Keeping all optical components clean is important for maintaining good optical performance.

ϘϘ Always protect the microscope and camera with the plastic cover when the instru- ment is not in use. (Included in the delivery package of the microscope.) Be sure power to the camera is off when the dust cover is in place.

ϘϘ If any optical surface becomes badly coated with dust or dirt, it should be cleaned by blowing the surface with a syringe or brus- hing it off with a camel hair brush before attempting to wipe the surface clean.
