GENERAL INFORMATION

Installation, repair and annual service inspection should be performed by a qualified service technician.

It is imperative that the control compart- ment, burners and circulating air passage ways of the appliance be kept clean.

Never obstruct the front openings of the appliance.

Due to high temperatures of this appliance adequate clearances need to be maintained from furniture and draperies and other combustibles. Locate furniture and window coverings accord-

ingly. The recommended clearance zone from the front of the appliance to combustibles is 36 inches (914 mm). Maintain all other clearances as outlined in the Installation Manual.

These fireplaces are designed as supplemental heaters. Therefore, it is advisable to have an alternate heat source when installed in a dwelling.
