Other Unix Systems

Internet Access

Ensure the "Gateway" field for your network card is set to the IP Address of the LevelOne
Broadband Router.
Ensure your DNS (Name Server) settings are correct.

Printing Setup

This section is not applicable to LevelOne Broadband Routers which do not
have a Printer Port.
The FBR-1401TX and the FBR-1700TX LevelOne Broadband Routers support LPD Printing
under Unix.
To use LPD printing to the LevelOne Broadband Router's printer, install an LPD printer using
the standard procedure for your system.
Use the LevelOne Broadband Router's IP Address as the location of the remote host
Use L1, L2, or L3 for the name of the printer on the remote host.
On the LevelOne Broadband Router, the logical printers (L1, L2, and L3) can be configured on
the Advanced - Printer Port screen. . See Printer Port in Chapter 8 - Advanced Configuration
for details.
