NOTE
!
DVR (Digital Video Recorder): A device which
records and plays broadcast programme contents
onto a hard disk in TV or SET TOP BOX.
The total storage space of the hard-disk is 160 GB.
4 GB minimum is reserved for TimeShift Mode.
When turning power on, it may take up to a maxi-
mum of 3 minutes to initialise the HDD.
The Recording function will not initiate for a
copy-protected programme.
Because an analogue broadcast is converted to a
digital signal, video which contains rapid move-
ment may show "cross stripes". This happens
when the analogue signal is compressed and
then restored in the digital signal. The unit will
attempt to reduce excessive picture interference.
TimeShift Mode is available in DTV, TV, AV1,
AV2, AV3 mode.
TimeShift Mode is available for Audio only channels.
When pressing the
PPaauussee((IIII))
button in TimeShift
Off mode, TimeShift starts. TimeShift remains active
even when you change channels.
In the case of DTV, the maximum DTV recording
duration displayed as Free space may be slightly
different from the actual maximum recording
duration.
