Getting Started with Your Phone
The Battery
NOTE It is important to fully charge the battery before initial use of the phone.
The phone comes with a rechargeable battery. Keep the battery charged while not in use in order to maximize talk and standby time. The battery charge level is shown at the top of the LCD screen.
Installing the Battery
1.Insert the bottom of the battery into the opening on the back of the phone.
2.Push the battery down until it clicks into place.
Removing the Battery
1.Turn power off. Slide the cover lock latch down in the direction of the arrow.
2.Carefully separate the device from the Qwerty Keypad.
3.Place a fingertip in the cutout to lift the edge of the battery, then remove it.
Turning the Phone On and Off
Install a charged battery or connect the phone to an external power source.
1. Press the Power/End Key 
for a few seconds until the Touch Screen lights up.
