SHORTCUT
Simply touch the Messaging icon from standby mode.
Depending on the content and size of your messages, the VersaTM can store a maximum of 540 messages. The information stored in the message is determined by phone model and service capability. Other limits to available characters per message may exist. Please check with your service provider for system features and capabilities.
New Message Alert
Your phone will alert you when you have new messages.
1.The phone displays a message on the screen.
2.The message icon (
) is displayed on the display screen. In the case of a high priority message, the icon will flash and a warning message is displayed.
1. New Message
Allows you to send messages (Text, Picture, Video, and Voice) and pages. Each message has a destination address and text dependent upon the type of message you want to send.
1.1 TXT Message

1.Unlock the Touch screen and
touch 
or press the Unlock Key ( 
) at the top edge of the device twice.
2.Touch Menu 
to access the menu.
3.Touch the Messaging icon

4.Touch New Message.
5.Touch TXT Message.
6.Enter the destination address(es) by touching Contacts to copy the address from your Contacts
List, Favorites to copy the address from a Favorites entry, or
New# to manually enter the address. If New# is selected, touch 
to choose:
From Contacts/ From Recent Calls/ Groups/ To Contacts
