English Setup
NAME
You are able to give the source a name which will be shown on the display when that source is selected.
To change the flashing character:
●Repeatedly press or hold / on the handset or front panel. The following characters are available: A to Z, 0 to 9, space.
To move to the next or previous character:
●Press or .
When you have finished inputting the name, press ‘enter’ or SELECT.
Default setting: (name of back panel connector or ‘UNIDISK’)
Note:
The name can be up to twelve characters long.
The next two items are for use if ADD UNIDISK has been selected from the source setup options. For the other source setup options these items will not be shown.
ANALOG INPUT
Select which analogue input(s) is/are connected to the UNIDISK player.
Options: ANALOG GROUP, ANALOG 1 to 6
Default setting: ANALOG GROUP
DIGITAL INPUT
Select which digital input is connected to the UNIDISK player.
Options: SPDIF 1 to 3, TOSLINK 1 to 3
Default setting: SPDIF 1
EXOTIK
TYPE
Select a type for this source. This is the type that appears on Linn learning handsets.
Options: AUX, CD, DVD*, TUNER, PHONO 1/LASER, PHONO 2/AUX, TAPE 1, TAPE 2/VCR, DAT, TV, CABLE, SATELLITE, NONE.
Default setting: AUX (Except ANALOG 2 and 3, and KNEKT which are set to NONE)
*DVD is the only option available for the ADD UNIDISK source.
Notes:
For ease of use with the handset supplied with the unit, you may wish to restrict the type selected to either CD, DVD, TUNER or AUX, to allow direct source selection.
If you do not wish to use a particular back panel input, set Type to NONE. This means that when you are using the SOURCE
VOLUME OFFSET
Volume offset is for adjusting the volume of a source in comparison to other sources. You may want to adjust the volume offset for a source if, for example, your tuner sounds quieter than your CD player when played at the same volume setting.
