Under “Settings“ you will find the following functions:

Channels

• Automatic search • Manual settings • Change

Parental lock

If you do not want your children to be able to use the TV unsupervised, activate the parental lock by entering a four-digit access code. You can change or delete this access code in the ”Parental lock” menu (see also page 28).

Switch the set to stand-by after entering the access code or switch it off with the On/Off button (mains voltage). When switching on the set only shows a picture when you enter your access code.

Timer functions

You can have your TV switch off at pre-programmed times or wake you/remind you with radio or TV. If you are not present at the time, a safety prompt makes sure the TV switches off again after 5 minutes.

TV off once only • One-time reminder • Wake up (Mo - Su)

Wake up with TV or Radio • Wake up volume

Time and date

When you receive teletext, the correct date and time setting is picked up by the set automatically. The time is for information for timing services, e.g. alarm. If you do not receive teletext you have to set the date and time manually.

Use the numeric buttons on the remote control and the arrows to move from one digit position to the next.

In the time and date menu you can also set when you want the TV set to auto- matically start and end daylight saving. You can also set a deviation UTC.

Language

You can set the language in which the menus are displayed under Settings - Language.

If “your“ menu language is not set, you may have to select the “Language“ menu in a language you cannot understand:

1.Press the INFO key while no menu is displayed. The index appears.

2.Select the first entry on the first page (1/2), if it is not selected automatically.

3.Confirm with OK.

You are now in the language menu and can select your language and enter it with ”OK”.
