Lowel Caselite® Instructions

The Lowel Caselite is a profes- sional lighting system. Read these instructions and lamp man- ufacturers’ warnings before oper- ating.

nDo not leave Caselite unattended. For non-stationary (portable location) use.

nNot for household use. Use only for photo graphic lighting (video & film imaging).

nDo not exceed maximum rated wattage for unit.

nUse maximum 55 Watt lamps.

nAlways unplug unit before relamping.

nBe sure lamp is securely seated in lamp socket.

nDo not use near standing water.

nInternal ballast produces high start-up voltage.

nNever bypass plug’s ground pin.

nDo not interfere with unit’s ventilation.

nWhen attaching to overhead pipes or grids, always use a Safety Cable.

nDo not attempt to open unit,

no user serviceable parts inside. See p. 3 for fuse change.

nThis is a portable location light. It complies with UL 1573 for still photographic lights when used with the supplied T1-80 cable. For use as a portable stage lighting unit use with Lowel T1-808 10’ unswitched cable rated for ‘hard service’.

General Warnings

Fluorescent Warnings

nAvoid looking directly at the tubes for extended periods of time.

nFluorescent tubes contain highly poisonous mercury.

nIn the event of lamp breakage, avoid contact with broken pieces.

nRead lamp manufacturers information fully.
