Fish I.D. can also be useful when you want to screen out some of the so- nar detail gathered by your unit. For example, it can help cut through the clutter of suspended bubbles caused by wave action or boat wakes.

To turn Fish I.D. off, repeatedly press MENU until the FISH ID menu ap- pears. Press to select OFF, then press PWR. To turn it back on, repeat the above steps, but press to select ON.

FishTrack

The FishTrackfeature shows the depth of a fish symbol when it ap- pears on the display. To turn it on, repeatedly press MENU until the FISH ID menu appears. Press to select TRACK ON, then press PWR. To turn it off, repeat the steps above, but press to select OFF.

If you want to turn off FishTrack depths but leave Fish I.D. on, press to select ON, then press PWR. Remember, Fish I.D. must be on in order to use the FishTrack feature.

Alarms

The sonar unit has four types of alarms: fish, shallow, deep and bat- tery.

Fish Alarm

The Fish Alarm sounds a tone when a fish symbol appears on the screen. The Fish I.D. feature must be turned on for fish alarms to work.

To turn on Fish I.D., repeatedly press MENU until the FISH ID menu ap- pears. Press to select ON, then press PWR. Repeatedly press MENU un- til the FISH ALARM menu appears. Press to select ON, then press PWR.

To turn off fish alarm repeatedly press MENU until the FISH ALARM menu appears. Press to select OFF, then press PWR to clear the menu.
