Description

Software version 1.32 has been released for the FFD 3.5” Ultra Wide SCSI, which replaces software version 1.31. Major changes include:

Execution of each Sanitize requirement in one command/interrupt

Faster Security Erase and Sanitize procedures

“Strong” Erase (erase operation repeated up to 16 times)

Additional Sanitize procedure based on IRIG-06 requirements

Availability

FFD 3.5” Ultra Wide SCSI with software version 1.32 will be shipped from June 2003. Customers that prefer the previous version for new ordered units should notify M-Systems, and special ordering information will be provided.
