5. After double-clicking the installed TCP/IPprotocol, the TCP/IP
properties window appears. To let the computer’s TCP/IP
values be automatically assigned by the XRouter’s DHCP
server:
a. Click the IPAddress tab from the TCP/IPproperties window.
b. Select the item Obtain IPaddress automatically. The
XRouter automatically assigns values for the computer’s
Gateway, DNS Configuration, and IPAddress.
6.After specifying the settings of TCP/IP click OKand then restart
Windows to allow the settings to take effect.
