DO NOT let comfort or familiarity with product (gained from
repeated use) replace strict adherence to drill safety rules. If
you use this tool unsafely or incorrectly,you can suffer serious

1. Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces
when performing an operation where the
cuttingtools may contact hidden wiring or
its own cord. Contact with a “live” wire
will make exposed metalpar ts of the tool
“live”and shock the operator.
2. Alwaysbe sure you have a firm footing.
Be sure no one is below when using the
toolin high locations.
3. Holdthe tool firmly.
4. Keephands away from rotating parts.
5. Donot leave the tool running. Operate the
toolonly when hand-held.
6. Do not touch thedrill bitor the workpiece
immediately after operation; they maybe
extremelyhot and could burn your skin.
7. Some material contains chemicals which
maybe toxic. Take caution to prevent dust
inhalation and skin contact. Follow mate-
rialsupplier safety data.
