ASSEMBLY CAUTION:
• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
unplugged before carrying out any work on the tool.
Spade grip
The spade grip can be installedin either of the positions as
shown in the figure. Tochange the location of the spade gr ip
from one position to the other, loosenthe hex bolts with a
wrench and turn the spade grip to another position. Then
tighten the hex bolts securely.
Installing or removingdrill bit
To install the bit, place it in the chuck as far as it will go.
Tighten the chuck by hand. Place the chuck key in each of
the three holes and tightenclockwise. Be sure to tighten all
threechuck holes evenly.
Toremove the bit, turn the chuck key counterclockwise in just
one hole, then loosen the chuck by hand.
