Para ello debe enviar la herramienta completa a un Centro Autorizado Makita o al Servicio Técnico de Fábrica.

Deje la herramienta en marcha varios minutos para calentarla. Apague y desconecte la herramienta.

Afloje los seis tornillos y retire la empuñadura.

Retire la tapa del cigüeñal con una llave tubo. Deje la herramienta sobre la mesa con la punta de la broca apuntando hacia arriba. Esto permitirá que la grasa vieja se acumule dentro de la caja del cigüeñal.

Limpie la grasa vieja del interior y reemplácela con grasa nueva (30 g; 1 oz). Utilice solamente grasa para martillo Makita genuina. Si se llena con más de la cantidad de grasa necesaria (aprox. 30 g; 1 oz) se puede provocar una acción de martillo defectuosa o una falla en la herramienta. Sólo rellene con la cantidad de grasa específica.

Vuelva a colocar la tapa del cigüeñal y ajuste con la llave tubo.

PRECAUCIÓN:

No apriete la tapa del cárter excesivamente. Está hecha de resina y está expuesta a roturas.

Tenga cuidado de no dañar los terminales o el cable conductor, especialmente cuando limpie la

grasa vieja o instale la empuñadura.
