INSTALLING ON A WALL

Note: This speaker is mountable in either a hori- zontal or vertical orientation. Horizontal mounting requires the use of two shoulder bolts and two wall brackets. Vertical mounting requires the use of only one shoulder bolt and mounting bracket.

Note: These instructions assume the mounting surface is standard wood frame and sheet rock construction. If you wish to mount to another type of surface, consult a bonded contractor.

Required tools (not supplied):

•Ruler

•Level

•Electric drill and 1/4” and 1/8” drill bits

•Phillips screwdriver

Horizontal Install Required hardware (included):

•(1) Installation template

•(2) Wall brackets

•(4) 1-inch Phillips sheet metal screws

•(4) Sheet rock anchors

•(2) Shoulder bolt

•(2) Wall pads

Vertical Install Required hardware (included):

•(1) Installation template

•(1) Wall brackets

•(2) 1-inch Phillips sheet metal screws

•(2) Sheet rock anchors

•(1) Shoulder bolt

•(2) Wall pads

1Screw shoulder bolt(s) into the back of the speaker.

Note: HORIZONTAL installation requires the use of TWO shoulder bolts (fig. 5A).

Note: VERTICAL installation requires the use of ONE shoulder bolt (fig. 5B).
