La cantidad apropiada de calor para cada aplicación depende de la distancia entre la aber- tura de la boquilla y la superfi- cie de trabajo y del tiempo durante el cual se aplique el calor a la superficie de trabajo.

Antes de realizar un trabajo, recomendamos que experi- mente con un pedazo de material desechable. Tenga cuidado al acercarse a la superficie de trabajo hasta que encuentre la combinación ade- cuada de ajuste del regulador de entrada de aire, de la dis- tancia a la superficie de trabajo y del tiempo de aplicación del calor.

Use un movimiento suave hacia adelante y hacia atrás al aplicar calor, a menos que se estime adecuado concen- trar el calor.

Para operar su pistola de aire caliente:

1.Conecte la pistola a una salida eléctrica con la capacidad adecuada.

2.Coloque el conmutador basculante en la posición de “HOT” [caliente]. La pis- tola alcanzará su tempe- ratura de funcionamiento total en aproximadamente dos minutos.

3.Coloque el conmutador en la posición de “OFF” [apagado].

4.CUIDADO: No coloque la unidad sobre su costado mientras usa los aditamen- tos de expansión o de contracción térmica.
