Lower Rack
Large dinnerplatesand otherdishesmaybe placedin anyconvenientlocationin the lower rackbut soiled surfaces shouldface the center.
Tall items suchasbakewareandlargeplatters shouldbe loadedonthe left sideof this rack. Thin items (cookiesheets,pizzapans,etc.)may be placedbehindthe folding shelf.With the shelfdown,two levelsof glassesandcupscanbe loaded.For bestwashability,do notplaceany items in the shorttineswhenthe shelfis being used.
Smallitems suchasplates,saucersor shallow bowlsmaybe loadedin:the elevatedareabehind the washtower.
Flatware
Putflatwarein the removablesilveIWarebasket, mixingknives,forksandspoons.To prevent them from nestingtogether,placesomehandles up andsomedown.However,sh~ or pointed itemsshouldbe loadedwith the handlesup.
The silveIWarebasketmaybe removedfor ease of loadingor unloading.
Usethe coveredsectionfor small,lightweight articlessuchasmeasuringcupsandspoons, smallplasticitems, babyspoons,etc. Lowerthe coverto keeptheseitems in place.
