Die extrem flache Bauweise der Tief-Mittelton- chassis garantiert ihnen eine optimale Verbau- barkeit in Fahrzeuge mit geringen Einbautiefen. Aber auch in „normalen“ Einbauorten spielt das System seine Klangkraft aus. Das Neodymma- gnet-System ist vorne aufgesetzt und sorgt für die starke Energie. Die Schwingspule ist durch den Metallflansch bestens belüftet (BTT) und hält so auch hohen Belastungen stand.
Die hochwertige Frequenzweiche zeichnet sich ebenfalls durch ihre kompakte Bauform aus und lässt sich platzsparend unterbringen. In die Weiche ist ein PTC-Schutzelement integriert, das automatisch überschüssige Energie aufnimmt und die Lebensdauer des Hochtöners auch bei extremen Lautstärken sichert.
The extremely flat design of the bass and mid- range drivers allows these to be installed in low-profile applications. But, of course, the DUA system achieves an exceptional sound performance in “normal” applications, too. The neodymium magnetic motor is positioned at the front and so allows an optimal energy supply. Our new BTT technology is used for the metal flange. The cooling effect helps to dissipate the unwanted heat generated inside the voice coil assembly in order to extend operation and improve power handling.
Due to its compact design the premium crossover allows a space-saving installation. A PTC protective element is incorporated into the crossover to extend the life to the tweeter by protecting it against overloading. This element automatically absorbs excess energy and ensures the sound quality of the tweeter even at extreme sound levels.
