Installation Guide

The R649 mounts in a standard one-gang wall out- let box and connections are made using a RG59U or RG6 Coax Cable (300ft max.) with “F” Connec- tors at both ends. Connect the Coax Cable between the R649 and the “F” Connector on a McIntosh A/ V Control Center, Preamplifier, Multizone Control- ler or Integrated Amplifier. Up to four sensors can be connected in parallel. When the R649 is used with a McIntosh A/V Control Center that uses a Five Pin Terminal Connector, connect the Center Wire to Pin 4 and the Shield to Pin 5.

Note: Before connecting the R649 to a McIntosh A/V Control Center, Preamplifier, Multizone Controller or Integrated Amplifier, make sure that the Main AC POWER Switch is in the Off Position (or remove the unit’s AC Plug from the AC Wall Outlet).
