INTRODUCTION

To get the best out of your new mini oven, please read through these instructions carefully before using it for the first time. Take particular note of the safety precautions. We also recommend that you keep the instructions for future reference, so that you can remind yourself of the functions of your mini oven.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The mini oven may only be used for its original purpose, i.e. for preparing food for domestic purposes.

The mini oven is for indoor use only.

The mini oven may only be connected to 230 V, 50 Hz.

The mini oven will become very hot during use. Only touch the mini oven’s handle and controls.

Do not touch the mini oven with wet hands.

Use only the accompanying accessories or those recommended by the manufacturer.

Do not use the oven compartment for storing anything other than the accompanying accessories.

The mini oven, cord or plug must not be placed in water or allowed to get wet.

Do not use the mini oven if the cord or plug is damaged, if it is not functioning properly, or if it has been damaged by a heavy impact or similar.

Do not use the mini oven if there are cleaning agent residues inside the oven compartment.

Keep an eye on any children in the vicinity of the mini oven when it is in use.

Remove the plug from the socket when cleaning, or when not in use.

Never try to repair the appliance yourself.

If the appliance, cord or plug needs to be repaired, it should be taken to an authorised service centre. Unauthorised repairs or modifications will invalidate the guarantee. Please contact the store where you bought the device for repairs under guarantee.

Positioning the mini oven

The mini oven should be placed on a flat surface, with clearance of at least 10 cm on all sides of the mini oven (including the rear) to ensure sufficient ventilation. This mini oven is not suitable for permanent installation, and you must check that the vent holes on the side of the cabinet are not covered. If they are covered while the mini oven is in use, there is a risk of it overheating.

Place the mini oven at a safe distance from inflammable materials such as curtains.

Do not place objects on top of the mini oven.

The mini oven should not be placed on untreated wooden surfaces, as it may damage them.

Do not allow the cord or any extension cable to hang over the edge of a table/counter, and keep it away from hot objects and naked flames.

Fire hazard!

To reduce the risk of fire occurring in the oven compartment, please note the following points:

Never cover the base or sides of the oven compartment with tin foil, as this can cause the oven to overheat.

The grid, roasting dish or other accessories and food must not come into contact with the heating elements.

Do not cook food for too long or at too high a temperature, and do not leave the mini oven unattended if it is hot, and baking parchment, foil or other combustible materials have been placed in the oven.

If materials in the oven catch fire, leave the door closed. Switch the oven off immediately, and remove the plug from the wall socket.

PREPARING THE MINI OVEN

Each individual mini oven is checked at the factory, but for safety’s sake, after unpacking it, you should check carefully that it has not been damaged during transport.

If it appears that the mini oven has been damaged, you must contact the shop where you bought it, and do not use it until it has been checked by an authorised specialist.

You should check before installation that all packaging, stickers and transport materials have been removed from the mini oven both inside and outside. Position the crumb tray (8) in the bottom of the oven.

Ensure that the mini oven is positioned correctly (see the safety precautions above).

Wash all accessories in water and washing-up liquid and dry them before use.

Plug in.

Please note: The heating elements (7 and 10) in the oven compartment were oiled during manufacture and may therefore smoke slightly when the oven is first used. This is entirely safe and will stop after a few minutes.

OPERATING THE MINI OVEN

The accompanying accessories (roasting dish (6) and grid (5)) can be used for cooking many different types of food. Use the handle when removing any of the accessories from the oven or when the accessory itself is hot.
