Setting the timer

Important!

The handle may be very hot after a long period of use.

Setting the timer

The timer emits an acoustic signal when the set cooking time has passed, and switches off the deep fat fryer at the same time.

Turn the timer button (12) clockwise in order to set the required cooking time. You can set up to 30 minutes.

Once the timer is set, the countdown starts immediately.

If you want to reset the timer, you should turn the timer button anticlockwise until the acoustic signal is heard.

7.Allow the deep fat fryer to cool completely (1-2 hours).

8.Place the cord in the storage space (11).

Important!

You must never move the deep fat fryer when the lid (8) is open.

HANDLING AND STORING THE OIL

Make sure all oil is only handled when it is completely cool!

Remove any food residues from the oil after use.

Filter the oil regularly.

The oil should be changed once it has been used approximately 10 times. All the oil should be changed at the same time; do not mix old and new oil. The old oil should be disposed of as per the relevant local regulations.

Keep the oil in the deep fat fryer or in an air-tight container in a dry, cool and dark place. (It is not necessary to keep the oil in a fridge).

CLEANING

Wipe the casing of the deep fat fryer with a damp cloth using warm water and a little washing-up liquid.

The bowl, lid and basket and handle can be washed in warm water with washing-up liquid.

Do not use any kind of strong or abrasive cleaning agent on the deep fat dryer or its accessories. Never use a steel brush or scrubbing brush to clean the deep fat fryer, as this may damage the surface.
