CONVERTINGAN AUDIO CD INTOMP3 OR WMA
FORMAT
ForWindows XP,you can also utilize thepreviously
installedWindows MediaPlayer 10 or 11 softwareto
convertmusic on an audio CDinto MP3 or WMA
formatas follows:
1. Open the Windows MediaPlayer 10 or 11
Browser,then clickon the “Rip” icon on the top
toolbar. Insert a MusicCD into the CD-Rom
driveof your computer.
2. Click on the “Tools”menu optionat the top menu
bar,then click on “Options”;the Option settingmenu will
appear.Click on Rip Musicand set the Rip Music tothe
desiredlocation on yourcomputer. Then,set the desired
formatfor the newly rippedmusic (MP3 format or
WindowsMedia Audio format).Adjust the audio quality as
desired.When finished,click “OK” to confirm thesettings.
3. Click on the “Rip Music”icon to start rippingthe music to
yourcomputer.
4. When the music tracksare ripped; connectthe player to
yourcomputer. Open the“MTP Player” or “Media Player”
windowand open the rippedmusic location window.
5. To add thetransferred/rippedmusic files/songs to your
playersimply drag and dropthe MP3 and/or WMA files
intothe “MTP Player” or “MediaPlayer” window.
6. When the files are finishedloading into theplayer, you
canfollow the “Safely RemoveHardware” procedureas shown on page 20.
