PLAYING COMPACT DISCS
This unit can play standard, CD-R or CD-RW CDs.
Press the POWER button to turn the unit on.
Press the CD Function button; “CD” appears in the display. NOTE: You can also repeatedly press the FUNCTION button on the remote to select CD.
Press the CD OPEN button and gently press a CD onto the center spindle with the label side facing forward and close the CD compartment.
NOTE: 3 inch single or standard CDs can be used with this unit.
Press the PLAY/PAUSE ( ) button to begin playback®pon Track 1. Playback will continue until all the tracks on the disc have been played.
CD PAUSE CONTROL
During CD playback, if you wish to pause the disc momentarily, press the PLAY/PAUSE ( ) button. Playback stops but®pthe disc continues to spin and the elapsed time will blink.

Adjust the EQ button and VOLUME buttons (and❶the X- BASS button on the❷ remote) as desired.
Press the PLAY/PAUSE ( ) button again to release pause®pand resume normal CD playback.

To stop playback before the disc ends, press the STOP/BAND ( ) button. The disc will stop and the■ display will show the total number of tracks and playing time on the disc.
