Check the power
supply and outlet.
Alternating Red and
Green LEDs flash with
a razz tone.
Motor Failure Contact a Metrologic
service representative.
The communication
cable is not connected to
the COM port.
Check the
communication cable
connection at the host
and scanner.
The communication
cable is damaged.
Replace the
communication cable.
The unit scans but
does not communicate
with the host.
Scanner configuration
settings have been lost.
Reconfigure using
MetroSet 2.
The host is receiving
data but the data does
not look correct.
There is an interface
format incompatibility.
Check that the unit and
the host are configured
for the same interface
