^Position the mounting plate and align the notches with the guide line. Mark the position of the four holes to be drilled a for securing the mount- ing plate and determining the posi- tion of the hole b the power cord will feed through.
^Feed the ductwork and power cord through their respective openings in the ceiling.
If 6" (150mm) diameter ducting is not possible then 5" (125 mm) ducting can be used in conjunction with a reducing collar available from the Miele Technical Service Department (see "Installation / "Air extraction").
^Drill four 3/16" (5 mm) holes in the ceil- ing.
The S10 wall anchors included in the packaging are not for use in USA/CDN.
Be certain that the ceiling is stable enough to support the hood.
