Preparing the electrical connection

Remove the cover of the terminal box.

Decide whether you would like the power cable to enter the ventilation system from below or from the rear. Remove the respective knock-out.

If the system is connected to an external blower, remove the knock-out for the control cable.

Install a suitable UL listed cable clamp or conduit fitting (not included) in the knock-out.

With the assistance of at least one other person, lift the ventilation system into the prepared cutout. The top mounting angles should rest on the countertop.

Align the ventilation system.

Secure the appliance to the floor and the countertop.
