Spot Metering

Spot metering uses only the center honeycomb segment to meter the image.

• The spot-metering area indicates the metering area.

Center Weighted Average Metering

Center-weighted average mode bases the exposure on an average of the readings from each of the honeycomb segments - with emphasis placed on the center of the image.

Care should be taken when photographing backlit, spotlit, or off-center subjects as non-subject areas may be included in the exposure calculation.
