Turn the SCSI terminator switch (Dip switch 4) to OFF 2. Connect one end of the IEEE 1394 cable to either IEEE 1394 port on the back of the scanner WINDOWS®98 / WINDOWS®2000 / WINDOWS®ME / WINDOWS NT® 1.Turn on the computer to start Windows® 2.Insert the DiMAGE Scan Multi PRO CD-ROMinto the CD- ROM drive 3.Click on [Starting up the DiMAGE Scan Multi PRO installer] INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE — WINDOWS 4.Click on Next 5.Click Yes 7.Select the setup type, then press Next Check that “Yes, I want to restart my computer now.” is selected, then click Finish 1.Turn on the DiMAGE Scan Multi PRO 2.Turn on the Macintosh and start up the Mac OS 3.Insert the DiMAGE Scan Multi PRO CD- ROM into the CD-ROMdrive 4.Double-clickon [DiMAGE Scan Multi PRO] 5.Double-clickon [Driver] folder INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE — MACINTOSH 8.Click on Accept 11.Click on Install 12.Click on Quit Drag the DS Multi PRO LAUNCHING THE TWAIN DRIVER 1.Open the host application 2.Select File Import DS_MultiPRO1.0… For Adobe Photoshop Ver.5 to 5.5 (not Ver.6): LAUNCHING THE UTILITY SOFTWARE LAUNCHING THE PLUG-IN 1.Launch Adobe Photoshop 2.Select File Import DS_MultiPRO Plug-in… 1.
