Glossary of Terms
Desktop Computer: A PC or Laptop where information resides that you perform a HotSync with using a USB or serial cradle.
Modem: A device for transmitting data over telephone wires by modulating the data into an audio signal to send it and demodulating an audio signal into data to receive it.
Handheld: A handheld computing device, specifically Palm m500 or Tungsten Series handhelds.
