Installing the PowerMount Wall Unit and Wall Mounting Plate

Remove all pieces of the PowerMount system to ensure you have all the necessary parts.

Be sure to choose a mounting location with convenient access to an AC wall outlet.

Wood Stud Mounting:

1)Using an electronic stud sensor, locate a wall stud at your desired mounting location.

With the help of a friend, vertically position the PowerMount wall unit on the wall stud. Using the provided level, confirm that the PowerMount is vertically straight.

3)Mark the stud center in the power unit’s top and bottom mounting holes with a pencil. Remove the power unit from the wall.

4)With your electrical drill and 3/16 in/5 mm bit, pre-drill a 3 in/76.2 mm deep hole at each mark.

5)Align the power unit’s mounting holes with the holes in the wall.

6)While one person holds the power unit, set the

wall mounting plate inside the power unit’s recessed area. Hold the mounting plate and power unit firmly in place.
