You may help prevent occasional discomfort in your hands, arms, shoulders, neck, and other parts of your body by:

•Taking frequent breaks to stretch and change your working position.

•Resting your hands and wrists frequently so they have time to recover from repetitive movements. Use a wrist pad.

•Using the touch pad on a keyboard or the Tablet PC pen, which change the way you use your hands and wrists; this provides a break from the keyboard keys or mouse.

•Excessive sound pressure from earphones or headphones can cause hearing damage and hearing loss. Adjustments of the volume control or equalizer to settings other than the default setting can increase earphone and headphone output voltage and therefore increase the volume and sound pressure levels to levels above the healthy range.
