Spirit92;GT6HQVLWLYLW\radios allow you to adjust the VOX sensitivity of the radio to compensate for varying levels of background noise.

1Setting. With theVOXSensitivityradioensitivity:on, press Menu button two times
to enter VOX sensitivity mode.
. VOX will appear on display along with the cur-
rent VOX setting, which will flash. Figure 22.
3. Use Scroll buttons to select sensitivity level.
1 = LowThreesensitivity, highLevels:levels of background noise.
= Medium sensitivity, used in most applications.

Note: The radio will return to normal operation mode after 10 seconds or after you press the Push-To-Talk button.
