Phone Basics
Notification and Bluetooth LEDs
You phone has a
Notification LED
that blinks
whenever you
receive voicemail,
email, have an appointment, or your battery is low.
The Bluetooth LED blinks when a Bluetooth device is
connected to your phone.
Navigating Through Menus and OptionsNavigation
Use the Navigation key to move around the screen or
to scroll through menus. Press r (the center of the
Navigation key) to select an item. To display options
menus for items such as contacts, highlight the item,
and then press and hold r. To open the main apps
menu, scroll to the app tab in the home screen and
press r to select it.
TTY — You are ready to use your phone to
make calls using a TTY (text telephone) device.

Hearing Aid — Your phone is set for use with a
hearing aid and is active on a phone call. See
“Using Your Phone With a Hearing Aid Device”
on page 115.
Text Message — You have one or more text
messages. See “Receiving Messages” on
page 47.
Email — You have one or more emails.
Voicemail — You have one or more voicemails.
Data Sync — Your phone is downloading email
and synchronizing your calendar with your
personal, Exchange accounts.
GPS — Your phone’s GPS is active.
Missed Call — You have one or more missed
calls.
