Lock code & security code

Your phone’s four-digit lock code is originally set to

1234 or to the last four digits of your phone number. The six-digit security code is originally set to 000000. Your service provider may change these codes before you get your phone.

If your service provider didn’t change the lock code, you should change it to prevent unauthorized use of your phone:

Find it: > Settings > Phone > Security

1When prompted, enter the four-digit lock code and press Done.

2Scroll to Edit Lock Code and press .

3Enter the new lock code in both text fields and press Done.

If you forget your security code, contact your service provider.

Manage memory

Multimedia content such as pictures, videos, and sounds are stored in your phone’s internal memory.

To see how much memory space is available for use on your phone:

Find it: > Settings > Storage Device > Phone Memory

>Phone Memory Usage

To delete pictures, videos, and/or sound files from your phone to free up additional phone memory:

Find it: > Settings > Storage Device >

1Scroll to My Pictures, My Videos, or My Sounds, and

press . If necessary, scroll to the name of a folder and press .

2To delete one file, scroll to the file and press Options

> Delete.

To delete multiple files, press Options > Delete Multiple. Scroll to each file you want to delete and press to mark it, then press Done.

Note: You can’t delete files that were preloaded on your phone.

3When prompted to confirm the deletion, scroll to Yes and press .

Use TTY device with phone

Note: Network/Service dependent.

Note: A teletypewriter (TTY) is a communication device used by people who are hard of hearing or have a speech impairment. TTY does not work from mobile phone to mobile phone.

You can use an optional TTY device with your phone to send and receive calls. You must plug the TTY device
