CallThe fourandCall TonesAlertonTones,the Spirit GT radios are used to alert other radio

users of

incoming transmission on the same frequency and code. They

are set at

fixed minimum volume level, but Call Tones become louder as

volume increases.

Alert Tones (beeps) confirm radio functions. Alert Tones can be disabled. When Alert Tones are disabled, the radio will receive messages at the

volume setting you’ve selected, but you will not hear beeps when you press

control buttons.
