wise. You will hear a beep and see the
LED Indicator Light flash momentarily
to indicate the radio is on.
2. To turn	radio off, turn the On-Off/Vol-
ume knob counterclockwise. You will
hear	click to indicate the radio is

Note: When you turn the radio on you are in normal operating mode.

AdjustingHold MonitorthebuttonVolume:down to listen to audio level while rotating On-Off/ Volume Knob. Rotate clockwise to increase and counterclockwise to decrease volume.

MonitoringChannelActivity:

The button is used to check activity on current frequency before

transmitting. Check frequency activity by pressing the Monitor button, you’ll hear static if frequency is clear. Don’t transmit if you hear conversation.
