Deleting Letters and Words

Place the cursor to the right of the text you want to

delete, and then:

Using Numeric Method

Use this method to enter numbers.

From any text entry screen, press

EntryMethod

Numeric

Press keypad keys to enter the numbers your want. When

you finish entering numbers, switch to another entry

method, or press

) to accept the entry.

Using Symbol Method

Your phone provides an alternate way to enter symbol

characters in a message.

From any text entry screen, press

Press

up twice to change the highlighted word or

letters to uppercase characters.

Press

down once to change the highlighted word

or letters to lowercase characters.

Action

Press

once to delete one letter at a time.

Hold

to delete words or the entire message.
